Location

The BOSTICK GUEST HOUSE is conveniently located adjacent to the University of Iowa campus and downtown Iowa City.

On-site parking is available. Because of our convenient location, many Guests park their car and don't drive it again until they drive back home!

Our Guest Houses are located on City and Campus bus routes, walking distance to UI and Mercy Hospitals, Iowa City's vibrant Cultural District, and the historic North Marketplace business district. Guests can shop for groceries right across the street, explore the variety of locally-owned retail and dining spots, walk to independent bookstores, theatre, and coffee shops.

Tour the nearby historic Northside Neighborhood, Iowa City's oldest residential neighborhood with many historic residences, UI campus tours, walking tours, and garden walks.

Iowa City is located within a 30 minute drive of the historic Amana Colonies, village of Kalona, and Cedar Rapids' Eastern Iowa Airport (which offers shuttle service to Iowa City and car rentals).

Directions

From Intersate 80, take Dubuque Street Exit #244 (South) to Iowa City. You will see the beautiful Iowa River to your right. Turn left (east) at stoplight onto Jefferson Street, a one way street. Turn left (north) at stoplight onto Gilbert Street. (The Jefferson Guest House is on this corner.)

Parking

Parking is located behind the Bostick Guest House at 115 North Gilbert Street.
